Villa Tolomei is just 2 miles from the nearest town and a 20-minute drive from the regional center of Grosseto. Beaches of Scarlino and Punta Ala are 30 minutes by car; Siena, 40 minutes away, or Florence, 90 minutes away. The nearest airport is in Pisa, about 100 minutes away.

PROPERTY DESCRIPTION:

Villa Tolomei has been totally refurbished (in the spring of 2009) and is composed of two adjoining houses connected by an open gallery on the ground floor an open terrace on the top floor and the dependence. Guests will find the magnificent swimming pool and surrounding grounds including the pool house. The property has 9 very spacious bedrooms with En-suite bathrooms most which have both shower and tub and double sinks. There’s one bedroom with a king bed, one bedroom with a double bed, two bedrooms with queen beds, and four bedrooms with two twin beds each. The ninth bedroom is in a more private annex and has two twin beds. There is air conditioning throughout, large living and dining areas, a billiard and TV room with a home theatre facility

Villa Tolomei’s interiors are rustic with light stone floors, brick arches and pale-wood beamed ceilings put a modern spin on farmhouse architecture, there’s a hearth surrounded by seating. Multiple seating and dining areas a quiet study and an equipped Tuscan kitchen. The villa itself is both air conditioned and heated and is equipped with high-speed Internet and a printer. Fitness buffs will appreciate the gym; others can enjoy some low-key games in the billiards room.

Swimming Pool:
The villa has three pools, (three Pool dimensions: 5×5 meters, 50 centimeters deep; 5×15 meters, 1.5 meters deep; 5×10 meters, 1 meter deep) linked by waterfalls and adjoined by a pool house. (Salt water, Sumptuous L-shaped pool). Swimming pool open from May 15 to October 15. The staff do not supervise the swimming pool which must not be used at night.

Furnished loggia veranda, perfect for shady relaxing and informal dining for up to 18 guests; Pool house features a large refrigerator and ice maker; 12 ample sun beds provided for the client’s comfort. Guests staying at Villa Tolomei, have free access to the private golf course and tennis court located 2.0kms from the villa. The course is reached by car along a private unpaved road. Details related to the access and the restrictions to the golf course are contained in a separate document which is found below. Guests staying at villa who wish to play on Golf course and the Tennis Court are requested to give prior notice to the rental agency of their intention to use the course.

Access & Parking:
To stay at Villa Tolomei you will need a car. You will be able to park it on the premises, free of charge in a reserved parking space. The parking space is suitable for at most 8 cars.
